Senior Pastor Mike & Teresa Weber
Mike Weber, Senior pastor of Bayway Church received his call to ministry at the age of 19 years old. He had been pursuing a degree in construction management at the University of Houston, when God began to deal with him about ministry. After much prayer and counsel from his pastor, he surrendered to the call.
That same year that he realized his calling, God also sent a beautiful young lady into his life. He began a dating relationship with Teresa Reed, whom he would later wed in September of 1985.
Mike and Teresa realized that ministry training was necessary in order to fulfill God's calling on their lives. In the fall of 1986 Mike enrolled at International Bible College, in San Antonio, Texas, where he and his new wife spent the next 4 school years in ministry training. Mike graduated with honors from International Bible College in 1990, receiving a Bachelor's of Theology Degree.
Upon graduating from Bible College Mike and Teresa moved back to Houston where they both worked in ministry in their home church, Channelview Christian Center in Channelview, Texas. Mike taught in the Christian School and worked as youth pastor while serving his 7 ½ years tenure there. Teresa worked in the Christian School, worked along Mike's side in youth ministry, and mothered their boys.
In 1998 Mike and Teresa began ministering as youth pastors at Crosby Church in Crosby, Texas where they served for the next 6 years. Both youth ministries that Mike and Teresa pastored were very successful ministries.
When Mike received his call into ministry in 1985, he knew that one day he would operate as the senior pastor of a church. God had been guiding him and Teresa to plant a church for many years. After much prayer and seeking God's direction they felt that it was time to start this Church.
On March 6, 2005 Word of Life Fellowship began meeting at the Hampton Inn in Seabrook Texas. In October of that year the new 35 member congregation moved into their first rented facility in Kemah, TX that sat about 50 people. It was awesome to see a dream come into fruition. The church relocated to the old Baytown area in 2006.
Word of Life Fellowship merged with Bayway Drive Assembly of God in January of 2010. The merging of the two congregations has been a marriage made in Heaven. The church has continued to grow since the merger.
Mike and Teresa have a burning zeal to pastor a church that makes a lasting spiritual impact upon the lives of the people that come to Bayway Church and that live in the community.
Mike and Teresa have 3 sons: Matthew who is currently in College and works with his father in the medical field, as well as leads worship, Reed, who works for a medical billing company and plays the base for the church worship team, and Jordan who presently is a student at Crosby High School and plays on the football team.
Youth Pastor Jordan Weber
In July 17, 1998, Jordan Weber was born in Channelview, Tx. In 2001 his family moved to Crosby and he grew up in Crosby and Baytown, Tx. He Graduated from Crosby high school in May of 2016. And is currently attending West Coast Bible College and Seminary.
Jordan has also been apart of Bayway's Youth Ministry since Word of Life Fellowship and Bayway Church merged together. And can honestly say he found his home in Bayway Church, where he made great friends, met his fiancé, Elizabeth Lara, and found his passion for Christ and was then called to do Youth ministry.

Children’s Pastors Daniel and Martha Vasquez
Known as “Coach Daniel” at Bayway Kidz Ministry, pastors Daniel Vasquez and his wife Martha gave their lives to the Lord in 2005. They began their journey with Word of Life Fellowship in Kemah, TX. After the church relocated to Baytown, TX, God called them into marriage ministry in 2007 in where they began to facilitate small group bible studies teaching couples the biblical principals in marriage. They became group coordinators for Family Life’s, A Weekend to Remember Marriage Getaway.
In 2008 Daniel and Martha received training and certification in conflict coaching and mediation by the Peacemaker Ministries. They continue to use these skills when dealing with troubled relationships. They also enjoyed volunteering in children ministries, youth ministries and in all outreach programs in the community.
After Word of Life Fellowship and Bayway Drive Assembly of God merged, Daniel and Martha officially joined the staff of Bayway Church in 2011 becoming the children’s pastors for Bayway Kidz Ministry. Daniel also serves as a deacon in the church. He is the proud father of four children Daniel Jr, 20yrs old, Celeste, 17yrs, Jacob, 10yrs and Daniella, 5yrs old. Daniel serves the community as a little league coach in where he coaches two teams. As a coach he takes the opportunity to do outreach to children and their parents. His fun, out-of-the-box and unpredictable coaching style captivates the children’s attention and keep them wanting more of the things of God. “I like to build up the children’s self-esteem and encourage them to live OUT LOUD for Jesus! They need to know that there are no LIMITS on what we can do for God, because of their age or size.” says Pastor Daniel. His vision is to see children step into the call God created them for. They know that kids face more obstacles today than ever before and want to help them establish a strong foundation in the Lord, so they can stand firm in Him.
Daniel and Martha’s goal is to partner up with parents so they can become spiritual leaders in their home and “Train your child in the way they should go.” They are committed in making a positive impact in your child’s life. Your child will enjoy a power-packed hour filled with hilarious games, fantastic music, crazy characters and powerful teaching from God’s word.
Children’s Pastors Daniel and Martha Vasquez
Although being so young of age, he is quite ambitious and driven when it comes to the youth and is always looking to keep things moving, not in just activities but also in the spirit. He brings a youths way of thinking to the table every Wednesday night to help your teen better understand what the Bible teaches.
He wants the youth to progress and learn to have a deeper connection with God in order to develop their own understanding of the word of God and to have a personal relationship with Christ.
